Lindsay Baker was announced as the new CEO of the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) in August 2021. Within the green building movement, ILFI is known for groundbreaking programs like the Living Building Challenge (LBC) certification, launched in 2006, and the Declare label for building products.

Lindsay comes to ILFI as an entrepreneur, former executive at WeWork, and former staff member at USGBC, where she worked on the LEED rating system during a time of rapid growth in LEED. However, despite leading ILFI she told Roberts’ Green Letter that she did not come into the job being very familiar with its programs. On the podcast:
